Synopsis
The secution template was designed for long-term flexibility and easy editing. Some common hurdles in grid template systems include coming up with a markup structure that is simple to understand, yet still semantic in nature. Achieving this while maintaining a stable, cross-browser compatible layout was no small feit.
Development Environment
This template was developed using vim, git, Photoshop, and apache. One of my favorite parts of this project was using git branches for the first time. I couldn't decide which color worked better, so I simply kept developing with 3 different colors in mind. Using git branches, it was easy to maintain three separate sets of styles in one.
